Charter 88
I would like to nominate Charter 88's website for the Advocacy award, as it fulfills the terms of the award in every way. The site is clearly set out, and the web-page for each of the democratic issues (voting, citizenship, freedom of information, calls for a written constitution etc) is equipped with a "What you can do" link which is a stimulus to action rather than simply the provision of information. This site not only "enhances open debate with the goal of changing the climate of opinion", it empowers people to actively participate in the changing of opinions. Dr Stephen Clucas
