CitizensConnection.net is the UK’s biggest website for active citizens. It aims to inform, inspire and empower individuals by encouraging people to be active citizens.
CitizensConnection.net is for everyone in the UK who actively seeks to make things happen – either in their own community or in society at large. It is for people who want to change things – people who want to start something, launch a campaign or take on a new role.
The impetus behind CitizensConnection.net came from research that showed that a massive 91 per cent of us think it is important to be active in our communities, but less than half actually get involved. More than 45% of people in the UK said this is because they don’t know how.
